“Spitzy”(as we call her here at Cabinwood) came to our farm through the same herd reduction out of Wathena, Kansas. Spitzy is blessed with a heavy stocky build, nice round rump, and a great conformation. Her very dark brown silky color shimmers in the sunlight and she has just the touch of a smile on her face all the time! Spitzy is one of my favorite, favorite donkeys!

Brianna, along with her half-sister Olivia, was one of our very first donkeys purchased in our premiere donkey summer of 2006. This petite light brown beauty shares a sire, Highland Meadows Mac, with her sister Olivia and has a strong pedigree that includes My World and Rearview ancestors. She was purchased as a yearling from Steve and Jill Crim of Assphalt Acres in Manilla, Indiana. Brianna is one of our smallest donkeys, measuring so far at just 31 inches! She also is our most quiet and loving girl. She’s always ready for a hug or a rub and you could take her anywhere and she’d never complain! She and Olivia are referred to here at Cabinwood as the "Snoop Sisters!"

 * Brinanna gave birth to a gorgeous dark sorrel jennet foal on June 17, 2009. Her name is Cabinwood's Lullaby Lucille.

Olivia and half-sister Brianna were our very first donkeys here at Cabinwood Farm. Olivia is a lean black/dark brown jenny with Arrow Creek, Flight of Fancy and LN breeding in her pedigree. She was also obtained as a yearling from Steve and Jill Crim of Assphalt Acres. Olivia holds the distinction of being our friendliest donkey. You have to keep an eye on Olivia! She is “always” underfoot, under your arm, under your shirt, in your pocket, and always the first in line for dinner or to meet someone new in the barn! She and Brianna  are referred to here at Cabinwood as the "Snoop Sisters!"

* Olivia gave birth to the most wonderful and handsome dark brown jack foal on June 18, 2008. His name is Cabinwood's Big Jake!

We were so excited when Steve and Jill Crim offered us Nicoal to add to our herd and buddy up with our other new FSW weanling girl Celina! We are so impressed with her great stocky and solid build and her even better looking backside! She has great conformation, an impressive pedigree and her color....WOW...under one of the thickest weanling winter coats I've seen she is so BLACK! Nicoal is a real asset to our future breeding program and most of all she has personality plus!

*Nicoal gave birth on March 24, 2010 to one of Cabinwood's most incredible foals so far! Little jack Cabinwood's Nicholass is amazingly handsome!

Celina had to be one of the prettiest little delicate foals I had ever seen so, when I found her on Nadia O'Bryan's site at Little Friends in Kentucky, it was love at first sight. We waited and waited impatiently through the long and cold winter until Celina was old enough to be weaned and come make the trip to Cabinwood. Our friend Steve Crim made a journey to Kentucky for us and took Celina back to Assphalt Acres so she could get acquainted and bond with her new friend Nicoal and then he brought them both to Cabinwood Farm together the following week! These two little girls make quite a contrasting picture when together in the pasture!

Celina gave birth to a very pretty rose-dun roan jennet foal on March 23, 2010. Her name is Cabinwood's Tessa.

We are thrilled to add this gorgeous and dainty little gal to our future breeding program. Cabinwood Farm did not have one single NLP jennet in our program at the time, so lucky for us when we went looking for one, Ron and Faye Jarvis of Dogwood Hills had exactly what we were looking for.

Susie is an absolute beauty and is so friendly and loving that she ate grain out of my hand the first day she was here. It was not hard to fall in love with this little girl!
